Brookhaven National Laboratory seeks a Senior Project Controls Analyst (Master Scheduler) to lead the IMS schedule development, integration, and control across large-scale science projects. The role requires expert Primavera P6 skills, EVMS experience, and strong leadership to guide L2/L3 analysts and ensure schedule integrity.

The position is based at BNL with potential for remote work domestically under a approved agreement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years of professional scheduling experience in Primavera P6
• Experience with large-scale science projects with multiple systems
• Strong cost estimating, budgeting, and control knowledge
• Proficiency in Earned Value Management System processes
• High proficiency in scheduling theory and Primavera P6
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

Responsabilités

• Serve as Primavera P6 Master Scheduler for IMS development and maintenance
• Lead schedule integration across partner institutions and interfaces
• Establish and enforce scheduling standards and coding structures
• Review significant schedule updates before baselining
• Support decision-making with what-if analyses and forecasts
• Perform schedule health assessments and critical path analyses
• Coordinate monthly schedule status collection and forecasting across teams
• Advise on schedule performance and recovery plans
• Lead scheduling for DOE reviews and external assessments
• Mentor and train Project Controls staff on scheduling best practices
• Develop integrated, resource-loaded schedules in EVMS framework
