Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Practice Supervisor to join our Primary care team in Torrington. Under the Manager, Operations Physician Practices, you will supervise daily operations and perform a range of administrative tasks to support the practice.

You will lead staff, ensure smooth patient flow, coordinate coverage, monitor attendance, and collaborate on hiring and performance management to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of progressively more responsible experience in a physician office.
• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• Proven experience in all aspects of medical/healthcare practice.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Proficient use of computers and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Supervises support staff and all functions related to patient flow.
• Ensures daily rounding is performed to enable smooth patient flow.
• Coordinates staff within assigned practices to ensure proper coverage for quality patient care.
• Monitors attendance for all practice employees. Addresses concerns promptly.
• Identifies office inefficiencies and proposes solutions.
• Collaborates on hiring decisions and employee performance management.
