Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver comprehensive primary care in a community health center setting within the Greater Sacramento area. You will work with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to serve diverse, underserved populations.

Requirements include CA PA license, NCCPA certification, DEA and BLS, with 1–2 years in community health preferred.

Qualifications

• Active California Physician Assistant license required.
• NCCPA board certification required.
• Current DEA certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health or underserved populations.
• Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including history and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
