Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to help create a new Rural Health Clinic in Smithville, TN. You will work in an outpatient setting, serving a population of 22,000+ with an integrated referral network and access to local hospital.

This employed role within a nonprofit Catholic health system offers a M-F full-time schedule, CME allowances, malpractice tail, and a focus on mission-centered care with opportunities for growth and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Nurse Practitioner credential required.
• Tennessee RN/NP license required or multi-state license recognition (Compact State).
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
