Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart Midtown is seeking a Full-Time Electrophysiology APP to join a well-established team of physicians and APPs at the Midtown campus in Nashville. The role focuses on diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders in an outpatient setting, with collaboration alongside cardiologists.

Qualified candidates must have an NP credential, Tennessee licensure, a Master’s in Nursing, BLS, and eligibility for multi-state licensure.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or transfer date.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire date or transfer date.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition (Compact State) prior to hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders like arrhythmias.
• Evaluate patients, interpret diagnostic tests, manage antiarrhythmic medications.
• Program or monitor cardiac devices like pacemakers and defibrillators in collaboration with cardiologists.

Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a new Full Time Electrophysiology APP to our team at our clinic at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Join an established team of 17 physicians (3 are EPâs) and 10 APPs


• Call structure: Not required


• Practice setting: Outpatient


• Access to: Support staff


• Employed position within a nonprofit health system


• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine


• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration


• Diagnose and treat heart rhythm disorders like arrhythmias


• Evaluate patients, interpret diagnostic tests, manage antiarrhythmic medications, and program or monitor cardiac devices like pacemakers and defibrillator's in collaboration with cardiologists

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing require
