Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners in Sparta, TN, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a full-time Rural Health Clinic position. Employed within a nonprofit health system, you will join an established team and manage both overflow patients and a growing patient panel in a rural setting.

Required are a Master's degree in Nursing, Tennessee NP licensure, and a state RN license or multi-state compact. Expect competitive benefits and a schedule Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS within 30 days of hire; AHA or ARC accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credential with Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• Licensed RN credential from Tennessee Board of Nursing or multi-state Compact license before hire date.

Position Highlights

• M-F Full Time schedule
• Prefer 3+ years of experience in PCP or Urgent Care Setting
• Taking overflow patients from the current clinic as well as establishing your own patient panel

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
