Job summary

Ascension, a nonprofit Catholic health system, is seeking a cardiology physician for weekend inpatient care, rounding, admissions, and discharges in a 251-bed facility serving a regional population. This employed role supports a team of physicians and APPs and offers strong stability within a national network.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiology.
• Licensed in Tennessee with DEA registration eligibility.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Master's degree of Nursing require
