Job summary

One Medical in Long Beach, CA is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to manage a diverse patient panel in a premiere primary care setting. The role includes in-office and tele-health visits, collaborative team work, and ongoing professional learning.

California licensure is required by start date, with additional state credentials potentially pursued. Ideal candidates will have outpatient primary care experience, and may have LARC insertion or related procedures.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification.
• State licensed in California by start date.
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner in outpatient primary care for at least 2 years (or 1 year plus a primary care fellowship or 1+ year urgent care).
• Experience with LARC insertion and colposcopy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office, at testing centers, and via occasional tele-health visits.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams.
• Utilize clinical training and perform in-office procedures; seek additional state licensure if needed.
