Job summary

Endeavor Health in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Associate to join our primary care team. This role handles front-desk tasks, screens patients, collects payments, schedules visits, and supports clinicians with registrations and vitals.

On-site position with rotating hours, this role may involve phlebotomy and injections for eligible staff. Candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and a willingness to train.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office (or related field) preferred; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Check in/out patients and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms; document vital signs, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support; basic vitals (BP, height, weight); phlebotomy and injections may be required.
