Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our clinical operations team. The role involves patient greeting, vitals, documentation, and front desk support in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Some phlebotomy/injection duties may be required, with hours Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm and rotating weekends. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience; MA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, MA program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• At least one year of work experience; on-the-job training provided for those without MA training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
