Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
• Interim MA certificate (Washington) required at hire or MA certificate (Washington) at hire.
• Medical Assistant certificate within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient data and vital signs.
• Document information accurately in medical records.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other team members.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards.
