Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program prior to start date/transfer or equivalent Military experience with ability to obtain MA-I prior to start date.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire and Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collection of patient data and vital signs; records in medical chart.
• Communicates with patients and families; coordinates care with the health team.
• Provide patient education aligned with the nursing care plan and health maintenance.
• Document patient history and procedures; ensure safety and privacy.
• Participate in staff orientation and performance reviews; maintain professional appearance.

Education
