Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program prior to start date/transfer or equivalent military experience.
• Interim MA Certificate (Washington) required at hire OR MA Certificate (Washington) required at hire.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect data about health status, vital signs, and patient concerns; record in medical records.
• Provide patient and family instruction aligned with nursing plan of care.
• Coordinate and facilitate patient care with the health team; ensure timely referrals.
• Document accurately and maintain patient privacy and safety.
• Demonstrate professional accountability, participate in orientation and performance reviews.
