Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent Military experience with MA-I eligibility.
• Interim Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire OR Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) required at hire.
• Medical Assistant Certificate (Washington) within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect health data, vital signs, and document in the medical record.
• Communicate with patients and coordinate care with the health team.
• Provide patient education and preventive care information as directed.
• Document patient history and keep KFHPW records compliant.
• Support ongoing learning and participate in orientation and performance reviews.
