Marathon Health, LLC in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. You will support a primary care physician and manage the full patient experience from check-in to rooming, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, and basic procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience, completion of a MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and may hold MA certification. Knowledge of EMR and patient communication is a plus.

Competenze

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred. MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.

Mansioni

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer approved medications and immunizations.
• Partner with care team to develop patient plans of care and address gaps in care.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, documentation, referrals, check-in/check-out.
• Record data in medical records and communicate test results as directed.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
• Maintain clinical and office supplies and equipment for treatments.
