Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and an exceptional guest experience, acting as both a Medical Receptionist and providing clinical support.

Responsibilities include vitals, injections, phlebotomy, rooming patients, and front-desk duties. Prior MA program completion and CPR/BLS are required; MA certification preferred. Onsite Florida clinic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and cleaned.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, dress wounds, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical records requests, referrals, check-in/check-out.
