Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience. You will act as both Medical Receptionist and clinical support, covering a full patient care spectrum.

The role requires MA program completion, strong teamwork, and CPR/BLS at start date. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked and cleaned.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Draw and prepare specimens with contracted labs for tests.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Document data in the medical record per guidelines.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.

Connaissances

Bilingual EN/ES or EN/Burmese

CPR/BLS certification

Phlebotomy experience

Formation

MA program graduation

MA certification/registration preferred
