Job summary

Upperline Health is seeking a Primary Care Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a value-based practice. In our patient-centered environment, the MA supports rooming patients, obtaining medical history and vitals, and coordinating care beyond visits.

The on-site role is Carmel, IN with travel to an Indianapolis facility. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and capable of working at the top of their scope in a team-based model.

Qualifications

• Certified MA or 2+ years in a medical primary care setting.
• Experience in a primary care/outpatient clinic is strongly preferred.
• Certified MA or phlebotomy certification is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and basic pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, document vitals and medical history.
• Assist NP with health assessments and in-clinic visits for Upperline Plus patients.
• Coordinate virtual provider encounters from the clinic setting.
• Accurately document clinical information in the EHR.
• Perform medication reconciliation and ensure complete reconciled lists.
