Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Head of Pricing, E&S for the Americas to shape pricing strategy for wholesale portfolio across the region. Lead innovative pricing models, collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and leadership to ensure pricing discipline and profitability, with focus on Energy Liability pricing within the Americas.

You will oversee pricing governance, provide strategic pricing guidance, and build a high-performing, diverse team aligned with AXA XL’s objectives and Americas growth plans.

Qualifications

• Non-life insurance pricing experience.
• ACAS or FCAS qualification required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure market-leading pricing and portfolio management across the Americas E&S tower.
• Act as a key member and influencer on the Americas E&S Leadership team.
• Provide decision-making guidance through advanced analytics in the underwriting process.
• Develop pricing methodologies and calibrate pricing tools with Models team.
• Manage micro-portfolio activities including base loss ratio selections and profitability studies.
