Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a lead actuary for the North America Reinsurance Pricing & Analytics team. You will price and analyze Casualty business written in the US and Canada, manage a team of four actuaries, and coordinate with European offices on global lines.

You will develop core pricing models and drive profitability reviews. You will work closely with underwriting and executive management to deliver strategic pricing objectives, build robust forecasts, and lead cross-functional initiatives while

Qualifications

Qualified actuary with FCAS or extensive pricing experience in P&C reinsurance.
Strong pricing knowledge within US/Canada markets and ability to adapt to global standards.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with underwriters, executives and cross-geography teams.
Ability to translate actuarial results into actionable business guidance for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide pricing support to underwriting teams with own analyses and peer reviews.
Lead pricing methodology development aligned with global strategies and standards.
Develop, calibrate and govern pricing tools and documents.
Monitor industry benchmarks and loss development factors to update pricing.
Drive analytics to support underwriting decisions and portfolio profitability.
Train underwriters on pricing matters and ensure governance of pricing guidelines.
