Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Head of Pricing, E&S in the Americas to shape pricing strategy for the wholesale portfolio. You will lead pricing innovations, analytics, and governance, partnering with underwriters, actuaries, and senior leadership to drive profitability and growth across the Americas E&S tower.

The role focuses on Energy Liability pricing within the Americas, with responsibility for pricing support beyond the region.

Qualifications

Non-life insurance pricing experience
ACAS or FCAS designation (or in progress)
Strong leadership and negotiation skills
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics

Responsibilities

Ensure market-leading pricing and portfolio management for the Americas E&S tower.
Act as a key member and influencer on the Americas E&S Leadership team.
Provide decision making guidance through advanced analytics across underwriting.
Develop and calibrate pricing methodologies and tools with the Models team.
Micro portfolio management: base loss ratio, profitability studies, dashboards, post-event evaluations.
Develop portfolio management capabilities for BI and core pricing metrics.
Influence regional business planning with loss ratios, trends and pricing metrics.
Conduct deals-specific pricing with consistent approach.
Collaborate with CUO, Underwriting, Reserving, and Claims to improve pricing accuracy.
Build and motivate a high-performing, diverse pricing team.
