OpenAI, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Operations Lead to translate pricing and packaging decisions into clear, scalable execution.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, billing, finance, and GTM teams to ensure accurate implementation, manage system requirements, and move pricing programs from strategy to reality with discipline. The role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional partnership, and a bias for structured execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of pricing operations or closely related monetization work.
• Ability to translate pricing intent into practical system requirements and launch plans.
• Experience partnering with billing, product, finance, and GTM teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational execution of pricing and packaging decisions from approval through implementation and launch.
• Translate pricing strategy, policies, and launch decisions into clear business requirements for billing, quoting, revenue, and related systems teams.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Billing, Finance, and GTM teams to manage dependencies, scope tradeoffs, testing needs, and launch readiness.
• Own pricing-related requirement intake and prioritization on behalf of the pricing team, ensuring requests are clear and tied to business needs.
• Support design and implementation of new product, SKU, packaging, and billing configurations as pricing changes move into production.
• Establish lightweight but effective pricing operations processes, including governance, documentation, sign-offs, and issue tracking.
• Identify recurring friction in pricing execution and drive improvements that reduce ambiguity, delays, and rework.
