Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Coda Search is partnering with a leading global law firm with offices located in New York, NY. The firm partners with Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and private equity sponsors on complex matters across industries.

The team is seeking to hire a Pricing Analyst to join the finance team. This individual will play a key role in supporting pricing initiatives, client negotiations, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling efforts to optimize profitability and strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with attorneys, finance leadership, and business development to develop and analyze pricing proposals for new and existing clients.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), rate structures, and profitability scenarios.
• Monitor client matter budgets, track financial performance, and provide variance analyses and insights to partners.
• Analyze firm-wide rate structures, fee discounts, and realization trends to identify opportunities for improved profitability.
• Assist in developing pricing dashboards and tools for leadership to enhance data‑driven decision‑making.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices in pricing strategy, reporting, and client value initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or profitability management—preferably within a professional services or law firm environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data visualization
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with attorneys and firm leadership.
