Job summary

Family Dollar seeks a Pricing Operations associate to manage day-to-day pricing execution, coordinate changes, and ensure 100% accuracy across high-volume SKUs. You will work with Merchandising, Marketing, Store Ops, IT, and Visual teams to implement pricing strategies store-wide.

The role focuses on complex pricing initiatives including Mark-Ups, Cancellations, Clearances, and Promotional pricing, with a strong emphasis on timeline adherence and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university.
• 1–3+ years of experience in Pricing Operations, Retail Operations, Business Systems, or a related field within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage the Pricing Workflow and systems execution where all pricing-related events are submitted from internal business partners.
• Participate in weekly Business Rhythm Meetings with the Merchant Teams providing updates, insights, and guidance on pricing execution and impacts.
• Partner cross-functionally with Merchant teams, Category Managers, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Store Operations, and IT to ensure alignment and successful execution of pricing initiatives.
• Research and resolve pricing issues as reported by stores and/or system-generated reports, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Provide fact-based guidance to the Buyers when working through issues.
• Maintain 100% accuracy for all pricing events; monthly SKU/Store records may exceed 25M.
