Job summary

Daniel Defense is seeking a Manager of Pricing Excellence and Commercial Analytics to lead pricing strategy, product costing, and channel pricing across e-Commerce, MIL-LE, and Commercial channels. This role partners with New Product Development and Operations on cost initiatives affecting margins and will deliver executive-ready analyses.

The position reports to FP&A and will build dynamic financial models, assess pricing tiers, and support strategic initiatives, including potential M&A

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial modeling, pricing analysis, margin management, or corporate finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with complex financial models.
• Experience building business cases and presenting analyses to executives (CFO/Senior leadership).
• Strong cost analysis, capital allocation, or valuation skills with pricing linkage.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pricing across the product portfolio relative to brand positioning and market benchmarks.
• Develop pricing models and recommendations to inform go-to-market pricing decisions.
• Build business cases and executive materials to support pricing decisions, quantifying financial impact.
• Partner with New Product Development and Operations on cost initiatives.
• Maintain portfolio margin health and pricing/cost positioning by product and category.
• Provide financial analyses to support strategic decisions and potential M&A opportunities.
