Job summary

International Motors, headquartered in Lisle, Illinois, seeks a Data Science Fellow to lead the development of a next-generation Parts Pricing Engine. You will define pricing methodologies, work with Pricing, Product, Finance, and Digital teams, and partner with a Build-Operate-Transfer model to bring pricing capabilities to life.

You will shape pricing strategies, analyze complex data, and translate insights into live pricing logic, guiding business decisions and performance across a large SKUs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 9+ years analytics experience.
• 2+ years of lead experience.
• Master's degree with 5+ years analytics experience.
• PhD with 3+ years analytics experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the pricing methodology across 400,000+ SKUs, including price elasticity, segmentation, price architecture, lifecycle rules, category strategy, and margin guardrails.
• Co-develop pricing strategies and analytical methodologies, establishing recommendation frameworks for the pricing engine.
• Translate complex analytical insights into live, tested pricing logic by defining requirements for the Digital team and validating production behavior.
• Address pricing challenges across a long-tail portfolio, varying product lifecycle stages, competitive markets, and dealer economics.
• Maintain and improve pricing measurement methodologies as data quality and business strategies evolve.
