Job summary

International Motors, a part of TRATON, is seeking a Data Science Fellow to build a next-generation Parts Pricing Engine for 400,000+ SKUs. The role collaborates with Pricing, Product, Finance, and Digital teams and partners with a consulting team under a Build-Operate-Transfer model to deliver pricing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 9+ years analytics experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years analytics experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• PhD in a quantitative field and 3+ years analytics experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the pricing methodology across a portfolio of 400,000+ SKUs, including price elasticity, segmentation, price architecture, lifecycle rules, category strategy, and margin guardrails.
• Co-develop pricing strategies and analytical methodologies, establishing recommendation frameworks for the pricing engine.
• Translate insights into live, tested pricing logic by defining requirements for the Digital team and validating production behavior.
• Address pricing challenges across a long-tail portfolio with limited data and across product lifecycles and markets.
• Maintain and improve pricing measurement methodologies as data quality and strategies evolve.
