Job summary

CleanChoice Energy is hiring a Pricing Analyst to help build, run, and refine pricing models for retail electricity in deregulated markets. You translate energy costs into competitive rates and provide clear visibility into pricing performance for Sales, Marketing, and leadership.

The role is hands-on and data-driven, with opportunities to expand into new products, customer types, and channels, while coordinating with Energy Markets/Supply on inputs and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
  • 1–3 years in an analytical role—pricing, energy, finance, or consulting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel with experience in SQL, Python, or VBA.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Build, run, and improve pricing models that set retail rates.
  • Develop pricing approaches for new products, segments, and channels.
  • Track Price to Compare, forward curves, and competitor offers over time.
  • Monitor margin and performance by market, product, and channel.
  • Automate and document pricing processes using Python, SQL, and AI tools.
  • Create reporting and dashboards for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and leadership.
  • Collaborate with Energy Markets/Supply on inputs, load assumptions, and risk.
  • Support campaigns and pricing requests with quick, accurate turnarounds.
  • QA pricing outputs and reconcile rates across systems.
  • Present pricing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
