Job summary

CleanChoice Energy is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Washington, DC to help build and improve pricing models across deregulated markets (PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE). You will translate energy costs into competitive rates and provide clear visibility to Sales, Marketing, and leadership.

The role is hands-on, with scope to expand as you gain market expertise and the pricing function grows into new products and channels. Strong Excel, SQL or Python skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role such as pricing, energy, finance, or consulting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and working experience with SQL, Python, or VBA for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills connecting analysis to business decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness; capable of double- and triple-checking work.
• Clear written and verbal communication to explain pricing logic to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and rapid turnarounds in a evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Run, maintain, and improve pricing models that build retail rates from cost components.
• Develop pricing approaches for new products, customer segments, and sales channels.
• Track and analyze Price to Compare, forward curves, and competitor offers; flag pricing changes.
• Monitor margin, conversion, and retention by market, product, and channel; advise pricing adjustments.
• Automate and document pricing processes; reduce manual work and error risk with Python/SQL/AI tools.
• Build and maintain reporting and dashboards for Sales, Marketing, Finance, leadership.
• Collaborate with Energy Markets/Supply on cost inputs and price/risk considerations.
• Support Sales and Marketing with pricing for campaigns and pricing requests.
• Perform QA on pricing outputs and reconcile rates across systems.
• Present pricing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
