Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring Maintenance Technicians for the TAMU College Station area. Positions are available full-time and part-time with days and hours varying; online applications are accepted.

A minimum of one year of preventative maintenance experience is required, with pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.50 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, same-day pay options, and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
• Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting.
• Two years of experience as a licensed Journeyman in the specialized trade.
• Master license in one trade or Journeyman Electrical License/Registered ACR Technician with EPA certification in Refrigerant, or a Journeyman Plumber License, etc.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to facility engineering and maintenance functions.
• Assists in leading a group of workers on a project and communicates complex instructions clearly.
• Maintains logs, completes work orders, tests and inspections; analyzes building system problems.

Education

Four years of skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling

Five years of experience as a maintenance technician in an institutional setting
