Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician on the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm). You will perform PM tasks, coordinate downtime with production, and help develop robust maintenance plans to minimize breakdowns.

The role requires 3-5 years PM maintenance experience, ability to read drawings and blueprints, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills. Company offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
3-5 years PM maintenance technician experience.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics as needed.
Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and return to operational condition.
Must be able to manipulate and operate tools and lift at least 30 lbs.
Must use PPE and follow OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

Execute preventive maintenance tasks: lubrication, calibration, cleaning, and parts replacement as needed.
Enter repair actions accurately into the maintenance program as they occur.
Receive and prioritize machine PM actions for assigned area.
Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform PM tasks.
Document work in the maintenance system and maintain accurate records.
Maintain accurate spare parts inventory for PM tasks.
Clock in/out per company policy.
