Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the weekend shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3:30am - 4:00pm). You will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify problems in electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process and repair equipment to support production demands.

The role requires a 2-year degree in Industrial Electro/Mechanical Systems Maintenance or 5 years of equivalent experience, along with training in

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Industrial Electro/ Mechanical Systems Maintenance or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Display specific training in Electrical and/or Electronic Theory.
• Display specific training in Mechanical Systems Maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams and all source materials relating to the operation and maintenance of equipment utilized within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to determine problems in non-functioning equipment.
• Repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints and manuals.
• Enter repair actions into the maintenance program promptly.
• Prioritize machine repair actions based on production demands.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
