Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is seeking a dedicated Preventative Maintenance Technician for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm). Overtime available.

The role collaborates with production to schedule PMs, prevent equipment breakdowns, and improve reliability across a large resistor/e-beam manufacturing footprint. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM experience, the ability to read drawings and diagrams, and solid diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• 3-5 years PM maintenance technician experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics as needed.
• Capable of diagnosing equipment malfunctions and restoring operation quickly.
• Must be able to manipulate and maneuver loads up to 30 lbs; use PPE per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication, calibration, cleaning, and part replacements.
• Input repair actions into the maintenance program as they occur.
• Receive and prioritize PM actions for the assigned area.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform PM tasks.
• Maintain accurate spare parts inventory and document work in the system.
• Diligently clock in/out per company policy and coordinate downtime with production.
