Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics - Columbus, NE is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and routine maintenance on production equipment. You will use diagnostic tools, interpret drawings, and ensure repairs align with production needs.

The position requires a 2-year degree in Industrial Electro/Mechanical Systems Maintenance or 5 years of equivalent experience, plus training in electrical theory and mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Electrical theory training.
• Mechanical systems maintenance training.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Performs periodic maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment per layouts, blueprints, and manuals.
• Make accurate inputs repair actions into the maintenance program via keyboard entry.
• Receive and prioritize machine repair actions for the assigned area.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checkouts.
