Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:30pm-2:00am) to troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing. This role requires a 2-year degree in Industrial Electro/Mechanical Systems Maintenance or equivalent experience.

You will perform periodic maintenance, read drawings, diagnose issues, and input actions into the maintenance program while coordinating with production.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Industrial Electro / Mechanical Systems Maintenance or 5 years' equivalent experience.
• Training in Electrical and/or Electronic Theory.
• Training in Mechanical Systems Maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• Experience with tools and test equipment.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and perform safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Receive and prioritize repair actions with production.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment per manuals.
• Enter repair actions into the maintenance system.
• Use test equipment to checkout equipment.
• Coordinate with leads and supervisors on priorities.
