Job summary

Norsk Hydro in Yankton, SD is seeking a Preventive Maintenance (PM) Supervisor to lead and execute the plant's reliability-centered maintenance strategy. You will manage PM technicians responsible for extrusion presses, cast house equipment, and paint line operations, ensuring safety and on-time completion.

You will leverage CMMS data and performance metrics to reduce downtime, improve MTBF, and support production goals while coordinating with maintenance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 5+ years industrial maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing.
• 2+ years supervision or leadership experience.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage PM program for extrusion presses and related equipment.
• Oversee daily, weekly, monthly PM activities and safety standards.
• Coordinate maintenance with production and operations teams.
• Use CMMS to create, assign, and close work orders.
• Analyze PM data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Mentor PM technicians and drive workforce development.
