Job summary
Norsk Hydro in Yankton, SD is seeking a Reliability Engineer to drive the reliability, maintainability, and performance of plant equipment and systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives and collaborate with maintenance and operations to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
Responsibilities include refining PM/PdM programs, coordinating with planners, analyzing equipment histories, and supporting TPM efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- At least 5 years of reliability engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CMMS, predictive maintenance, MTBF and OEE.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate PM/PdM services with planners and maintenance management.
- Analyze data and equipment histories to optimize PM/PdM frequencies.
- Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and reduce downtime.
- Train personnel on PM/PdM procedures and ensure owner approval.
- Align PM/PdM schedules with operation needs and downtime considerations.
