Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC seeks a Reliability Engineer in Yankton, SD to ensure the reliability, maintainability, and performance of equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will develop and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs to optimize asset performance and reduce costs.

You will lead TPM initiatives, analyze MTBF and OEE, and support maintenance teams with engineering solutions to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of reliability engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMS, predictive maintenance, and reliability metrics such as MTBF and OEE.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the preventive/predictive maintenance program in a systematic, professional manner - coordinating with equipment custodians and maintenance management to ensure it is approved and endorsed by both departments.
• Coordinate with planner/schedulers to ensure PM/PdM services and inspections are scheduled and performed when due.
• Administration, control and analysis of all data, records and equipment histories to continually review and refine PM/PdM frequencies.
• Develop engineering solutions to repetitive equipment failures and other reliability problems; implement ways of reducing maintenance needs and eliminating failures.
• Ensure responsible personnel are trained in carrying out programmed maintenance.
• Review PM/PdM procedures with operation superintendents and staff to secure owner approval prior to implementation.
• Analyze planned idleness of operating equipment to improve PM/PdM schedules.
• Periodically compare PM/PdM frequencies to downtime reports and equipment histories to identify adjustments.
