Job summary
Norsk Hydro is seeking a Reliability Technician/Maintenance Planner in Sidney, OH to manage the CMMS, drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and lead reliability improvements. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and optimizing maintenance activities to boost equipment uptime and safety.
The ideal candidate will have extensive maintenance experience in manufacturing and strong leadership abilities, with proficiency in CMMS, robotics, CNC, PLC controls, hydraulics, pneumatics,
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory, leadership, or maintenance management experience preferred.
- Experience managing and administering a CMMS system is required.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, preventive maintenance, and reliability best practices.
- Working knowledge of robotics, automated manufacturing systems, CNC equipment, PLC controls, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and industrial electrical systems.
- Experience supporting reliability and asset management initiatives.
- Project management experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage CMMS and preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and safety.
- Plan and schedule maintenance work orders and inventory to optimize cost performance.
- Collaborate with CRI team to implement reliability initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop and refine PM and PdM programs for site assets.
- Lead maintenance planning processes and oversee execution strategies.
