Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Preventive Maintenance Field Engineer to support development and execution of preventive maintenance programs for project systems and equipment. This role ensures reliability, maintainability, and safe operation as we move from construction to commissioning and startup.
The candidate may start in Reston, Houston, or Cheyenne as a single-status employee, contributing to preconstruction planning and field readiness for the upcoming EPC delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; 1–2 years of relevant experience (or 5–6 years without degree).
- Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; able to perform field inspections.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication and coordination.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment systems; ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Walks and inspections on construction sites with safety awareness.
Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure reliability, maintainability, and safe operation of assets.
- Assist in transition from construction to CSU.
- Perform inspections and EIRs; support material storage and control.
