Job summary

Maryland Care Management, Inc. (MCMI) seeks a dedicated Prevention and Wellness Educator to coordinate and deliver prevention education to Maryland Medicaid recipients under the Manager's direction.

The role focuses on promoting timely preventive care through member and provider education and outreach. You will develop educational opportunities, conduct outreach, and support program goals across MD, with travel and some evening/weekend work.

Qualifications

• Background in managed care, care management, or population health.
• Public speaking and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel statewide.
• Experience educating underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach to Medicaid recipients and providers to promote preventive services.
• Develop events and educational opportunities with collaborators to serve members and providers.
• Travel statewide to attend events, including some evenings and weekends.
• Address barriers to accessing care by coordinating scheduling and transportation referrals.
• Assist with newsletters and creation of educational materials.
