Job summary

Children's Aid seeks a Prevention Facilitator to empower youth through school- and community-based prevention services, mentoring, and case management for a caseload of about 20 students.

The role delivers prevention programs, college and career readiness, and SEL activities, partnering with schools, families, and community organizations to promote inclusive, safe, and supportive environments in line with the organization's mission and values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in prevention programs or youth development.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students in centers, schools and the community.
• Manages a caseload of 20 students.
• Facilitate Evidence-Based Programs (EBP).
• Facilitate all assigned groups.
• Provide individual counseling and interventions.
• Provide individual mentorship and referrals.
• Assist in recruitment and retention of youth and families for prevention services.
• Provide support for at-risk youth.
