Job summary

Resilience is seeking a Prevention Services Supervisor to lead youth prevention education programs, supervise interns, and collaborate with the Education and Training team in Chicago. The role involves coordinating K-12 school curricula, trainings, and campus safety initiatives within a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities include developing curricula, supervising interns, fostering school partnerships, and driving the Our Music, My Body (OMMB) campaign.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Health, Social Work, Human Development & Family Services or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish) is preferred.
  • Previous sexual violence prevention education experience and professional training facilitation is required.
  • Teaching experience with youth/adolescents and/or experience providing youth education is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong equity framework analysis on belonging, LGBTQIA+ issues, and racial, reproductive, disability, and economic justice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and in-school stewardship of youth prevention education curriculum and supervise interns on-site.
  • Provide weekly supervision and instructional coaching to prevention educator interns.
  • Develop school partnerships and schedule programming in partnership with the Director of Education & Training.
  • Coordinate OMMB related training and onsite activations including scheduling staff, interns or volunteers at events.
  • Support the creation and ongoing development of various trainings within the Resilience Training Institute (RTI).
  • Contribute to community mobilization activities and public policy initiatives related to prevention education.
  • Complete monthly reports and evaluations of programs and trainings.
