Job summary

Ohio Department of Children and Youth is seeking a policy and program coordinator to support Ohio’s Prevention Services Plan. You will work with division leadership to align programs with state priorities, evidence‑based practices, and federal requirements, coordinating across Title IV‑E agencies and PCSAs.

You will help implement Family First Prevention Services, document activities in state systems, and assist with grant development and reporting.

Qualifications

• 72 mos. exp. in researching, developing, or implementing policies related to social services, health services, public policy, or comparable field.
• 12 mos. exp. in delivery of human services in a governmental, community, or private human support services agency.
• Or undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science with 12 mos. exp. in delivery of human services in a governmental, community, or private human support services agency.
• Or graduate core program in social or behavioral science with 12 mos. exp. in delivery of human services in a governmental, community, or private human support services agency.
• Or 12 mos. exp. as Human Services Developer, 69463.

Responsibilities

• Assist division leadership in the continued development and implementation of Ohio’s Prevention Services Plan.
• Ensure prevention programs align with DCY priorities, evidence‑based practices, and state/federal requirements.
• Support community implementation of prevention initiatives (e.g., Family Success Network).
• Collaborate with Title IV‑E agencies, community providers, and PCSAs to strengthen prevention services.
• Assist with FFPS eligibility determinations and FFPS‑aligned services guidance.
• Document service delivery in state systems (OCHIDS, Salesforce, CCWIS) and support federal reporting.
• Contribute to grant development, including preparation, submission and documentation.
• Oversee federal grants (e.g., Accelerator Grant), monitor compliance, evaluation and reporting.
• Serve as an agreement manager for designated projects and handle invoices and model-change documentation.
