Employees may begin as early as 7:00 a.m. and as late as 9:00 a.m., based on supervisory approval. This position performs work on-site daily at DCY’s office space.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will assist division leadership in the continued development and implementation of Ohio’s Prevention Services Plan, ensuring that all prevention programs are aligned with the Department of Children and Youth’s priorities, evidence‑based practices, and state and federal requirements. Your work will span both currently approved services—such as Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), Motivational Interviewing, and home visiting models—as well as emerging prevention services being developed for the future.

A major part of the role involves supporting community implementation of prevention initiatives, including models like the Family Success Network. You will collaborate closely with Title IV‑E agencies, community providers, and Public Children Services Agencies (PCSAs) to strengthen community‑based prevention services and help expand supports to families. You will also assist with Family First Prevention Services (FFPS) eligibility determinations and provide ongoing guidance to agencies implementing FFPS‑aligned services.

You will help ensure that service delivery is accurately documented in the required state systems, including the Ohio Comprehensive Home Visiting Integrated Data System (OCHIDS), the Salesforce Prevention Services Case Management System, and Ohio’s Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS), among others. This position requires coordination with internal and external partners to ensure that these systems reinforce best practices and meet program, state, and federal expectations. You will support federal reporting efforts, monitor continuous quality improvement processes, safeguard fidelity to evidence‑based models, and help identify and resolve implementation barriers. The role also includes contributing to grant development—supporting preparation, submission, and ongoing documentation.

Additionally, you will oversee federal grants, such as the Accelerator Grant, ensuring compliance, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements are met. You will also serve as an agreement manager for designated projects, handling fiscal processes such as reviewing, processing, and tracking invoices and maintaining documentation of model changes and significant events affecting providers across the state.

This position is well‑suited for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, coordination, data‑informed decision‑making, and supporting communities in delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based prevention services.
