Job summary

The State of Ohio, through the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, is seeking a Grants Administration professional to coordinate services for pre-adjudicated and adjudicated students. You will collaborate with DEW offices to align policy, funding, and resources and provide technical assistance for implementation.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in educational setting, youth serving agency, or state agency with connection to foster care, residential, or the justice system
• Experience managing federal funding and grants
• Experience providing technical assistance and support for local implementation of state and federal law
• Graduate degree preferred; and more than 5 years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborates across centers to ensure continuity of educational services for pre-adjudicated and adjudicated students
• Develops and implements policies aligned with strategic plan
• Provides tools to conduct needs analysis of each agency’s educational services
• Writes position papers and reports and gives presentations
• Administers statewide comprehensive school monitoring reviews for compliance of policy, state and federal rules and regulations
