Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. in the Umatilla area of Oregon is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities include documenting actions, following safety policies, and maintaining operations in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills (MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance field or more preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be insurable as a driver.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task.
• Must be computer literate in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and performing preventative maintenance.
• Maintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment.
• Ensures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures.
