Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support store operations in the Dayton area. You will perform preventative and general maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime, working either independently or with a team as needed.

The role requires self-motivation, adaptability to a dynamic workplace, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. Some overnight travel may be requested for special projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of general construction and building maintenance.
• Proven problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload without supervision.
• Team player with professional demeanor.
• Able to use Outlook/Teams on smartphone or tablet.
• Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and convenience-store equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventative maintenance on building and store equipment.
• Do light carpentry, minor electrical, floor, restroom repairs, door hardware, and signage tasks.
• Pressure wash, paint, and maintain store assets for high image standards.
• Complete special projects as requested by management.
• Participate in field visits and meetings as needed.
• Communicate with internal/external customers clearly.
• Travel occasionally for projects or initiatives.
