Job summary

ERSG Ltd. in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Prevailing Wage Specialist to support the Prevailing Wage program for an offshore project. This contract role starts ASAP for 2 years with potential extensions, offering health, dental, vision insurance and a 401K with a 4% match after 12 months.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, developing policies, training staff, managing wage data, audits readiness, risk assessment, and cross‑functional collaboration with HR, legal, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience with prevailing wage compliance and construction wind projects is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage regulations and standards on projects.
• Communicate policies and procedures to project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Conduct training sessions for project personnel on prevailing wage laws.
• Assist with documentation, wage rate determinations, and record-keeping.
• Prepare for external audits by maintaining meticulous records.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to prevailing wage compliance.
• Collaborate with PWA manager, site managers, HR, legal, and finance.
• Notify PWA manager of any disputes and assist in resolution.
• Suggest improvements to prevailing wage processes for efficiency.
• Serve as the primary contact for prevailing wage data tracking and archiving.
