Job summary

Brookfield Renewable N.A. is seeking a Prevailing Wage Administrator to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws across projects.

You will oversee certified payroll submissions, validate labor classifications, and support reporting requirements, serving as a liaison between project teams, contractors, auditors, and regulators. You will interpret prevailing wage laws, apply wage determinations, review payroll submissions, and assist with DOE 247 applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor compliance, payroll administration, or construction compliance.
• Working knowledge of federal and/or state prevailing wage laws.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply prevailing wage laws, including the Davis-Bacon Act, state labor statutes, and local ordinances.
• Review and audit certified payroll submissions for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Support the integration of prevailing wage requirements into bid documents and contracts.
• Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory agencies.
• Assist with audits and respond to requests for documentation or information.
• Administer and support DOE 247 applications, ensuring accurate data management and regulatory reporting.
• Provide training on prevailing wage requirements to internal teams and contractors.
